MacBook

Aah the MacBook. Object of desire for students anywhere. Fast, tough, portable and white (or of course black). The MacBook range underwent few major revisions during its life, principally speed bumps and a change form a Core Duo to Core 2 Duo processor. This means that most parts from one MacBook will fit other MacBooks. It's not unknown for people to even mix and match coloured case parts, making up white MacBooks with black keys etc. Well, if you must I suppose.

MacBook parts that are model specific can be found in the relevant MacBook section, otherwise a part should be regarded as of universal fitment. All MacBooks are model number A1181 (printed under the machine in microscopic type) the main way of spotting the difference is the machine ID which is accessed via the system profiler in the Apple menu.
